History
Team Luthor was a privatized civilian security force that was created by businessman Lex Luthor. It was established as a part of LexCorp that consisted of security personnel equipped with power armor with them being deployed as urban assault teams. After Superman had departed into deep space, the 5th Dimensional Imp Mister Mxyzptlk manifested at Metropolis and caused mayhem unaware that the Man of Steel was not on the planet. Lex Luthor had Team Luthor deployed into the city to help protect the people from the Imp. They attacked the giant Mxyzptlk only for him to use his powers to turn their suits into toy aircraft. The team were recovered and found to be barely alive but had to be cut out of their suits. (Superman v2 #31)
When Catwoman broke into LexCorp Towers, she proceeded to Lex Luthor's office to steal from the computers the plans for the new Lex-Wing. Lex had Team Luthor deployed but whilst the were getting ready the Catwoman managed to escape from within their locker room. An angry Luthor later fired one of the Team's members for revealing information to Lois Lane. (World's Finest v3 #8)
Overview
The group was a special forces urban assault team that was organized and funded by LexCorp. To operate in the field, they operated hi-tech suits of armor that had flight capabilities. (Superman v2 #31)

- Morris : a male Caucasian member who was on the first iteration of the team deployed to combat Mister Mxyzptlk only for him to use his 5th dimensional powers to distort his ship into a toy plane with Morris suffering from severe spinal injuries. (Superman v2 #31)

- Team Luthor was created by Roger Stern, Kerry Gammill, and Brett Breeding where they made their first appearance in Superman v2 #31 (May, 1989).

- In Superman, though Team Luthor did not appear in the setting of the 2025 live-action film there were a group called the Raptors who worked for Lex Luthor. They were humans that employed advanced flight capable battle armour provided by Luthor Corp allowing them to fight super-powered threats. Luthor offered their use to the U.S. Government where he suggested the creation of an armed response unit called PlanetWatch to deal with the threat posed by Metahumans. Raptors were involved in Luthors operations in detaining them and guarding a prison complex Lex had created in a pocket dimension. Luthor later came to indirectly release a video recording indicating that Superman's Kryptonian parents had sent him to dominate the Earth causing public opinion to turn against him. In response, the U.S. government ordered his arrest with Raptors taking Superman into custody after he willingly surrendered himself. Mr. Terrific would battle numerous Raptors at a base that was a portal to the pocket dimension. Later on, Superman managed to break free and fought a number of Raptors in order to free some hostages held by Luthor. A large number of Raptors were theen deployed to attack Superman at Metropolis but he effortlessly beat them whilst he was fighting Ultraman.
