The Secret Scouts were a group of humans who first encountered the Dinosaucers.
During an ordinary day on Earth, four teenagers—David, Sara, Paul, and Ryan—found their lives forever changed when they encountered the Dinosaucers, a race of evolved, humanoid dinosaurs from the planet Reptilon. The Dinosaucers had traveled to Earth in pursuit of their sworn enemies, the Tyrannos, who sought to conquer both Reptilon and Earth using advanced alien technology. Recognizing the intelligence, bravery, and integrity of the teens, the Dinosaucers entrusted them with membership in their secret alliance, granting them access to Reptilonian technology and inducting them as the Secret Scouts. Each teen retained their human form but was given devices and communication gear to assist the Dinosaucers in their ongoing battle. The four quickly became critical allies, using their knowledge of Earth’s terrain and human society to help the Dinosaucers blend in, uncover Tyranno plots, and safeguard both worlds from destruction. Their headquarters, concealed from public view, served as a strategic base of operations from which they launched missions, studied Reptilonian science, and coordinated attacks or counter-intelligence operations.
The Secret Scouts operated not merely as assistants but as full-fledged partners, often accompanying the Dinosaucers into the field. Despite lacking superpowers or biological enhancements, they used their courage, intellect, and adaptability to outwit the Tyrannos and assist in thwarting their plans. David, often the group's de facto leader, was analytical and level-headed; Sara brought compassion and sharp instincts; Paul had a quick wit and knack for technical improvisation, while Ryan’s athleticism and daring attitude made him indispensable in physical confrontations. They frequently found themselves in danger, navigating alien traps, reversing destructive devices, or using stealth and subterfuge to expose enemy schemes. Whether infiltrating Tyranno bases, helping the Dinosaucers recover stolen tech, or mediating misunderstandings between humans and aliens, the Secret Scouts proved themselves time and again. Despite being ordinary teenagers, they rose to the occasion, becoming Earth’s frontline defenders in a secret intergalactic war that the wider world remained blissfully unaware of.
Paul of the Scouts detected the presence of the Tyrannos who had landed their ship by a set of caverns. He was met up by the Dinosaucers with Sara Spencer who entered the cavern to find a hidden enclosed valley containing living Dinosaurs. With the Secret Scouts aid, the Dinosaucers managed to thwart Genghis Rex's plans in enslaving the Dinosaurs as a slave labor force. (Episode: Dinosaur Valley) they would later teach the Dinosaucers about Earth's baseball game and it's rules. (Episode: Take Us Out to the Ballgame)
Overview
In appearance, the Secret Scouts were a group of human teenagers on Earth. They came to be some of the closest friends the Dinosaucers have while they are on Earth.
When the Dinosaucers first arrived, they gave the teenage humans they met magic rings. Each teenager wears a ring that grants a superpower just by uttering the words "Secret Scout ring, power up!".
The Scouts rings in a instant could be activated and afforded them enhanced agility. (Episode: Take Us Out to the Ballgame)
Members
- Ryan Spencer : a blond haired male teenager who seems to be the smartest and most athletic of the group and was Sara's brother. He did not seem to get into as much trouble as his three friends do.
- Sara Spencer : a blond haired female teenager and the only girl of the Secret Scouts and was Ryan's sister. She is quite athletic and informative often teaching the Dinosaucers, albeit confusing to them, Earth-related notions. With her ring power, she can jump at amazing heights for short periods of time. She has a pet cat named Missy. She often goes on adventures with Bronto Thunder and relates very well to the only female Dinosaucer, Teryx.
- Paul : an African American male teenager who seems to find the Dinosaucers thrilling and fun. He also has a pet dog named Charlie who has caused a lot of trouble for the Dinosaucers in various episodes. His Scout ring lets him run at enhanced speed over long distances. He generally spends a lot of time with Dimetro.
- David : a black haired teenage male who is the wild one of the bunch. Often getting into trouble and making matters worse by getting the Dinosaucers involved in his "act first and think second" tactics. He is strong and athletic, and although he did not quite have the sharp intellect of Paul or Ryan, he is creative and a quick thinker. He is often involved with various adventures with Stego and Bonehead
