Biography

William Wu in Teen Titans v6 #41.

William Wu

Roundhouse was in a crowd of civilians before transitioning into his spherical form to intervene in a public disturbance. He utilized his rounded shape to launch himself into combat, physically striking and rebounding off several armed opponents to incapacitate them. Throughout the engagement, he held a smartphone in one hand to record and livestream his activities, providing a running commentary to his digital audience while simultaneously maneuvering through the environment. He coordinated his movements with other young metahumans, using his high-impact bounces to disrupt enemy formations and provide defensive cover for his associates. Following the skirmish, he interacted with the group and maintained his broadcast until the immediate threat was neutralized and the team departed the scene. (Teen Titans Special v1 #1)

In appearance, Roundhouse was a male of Asian descent with a rounded facial structure, a short nose, and dark hair that was styled into a small topknot or bun. His build was notably large and stocky, characterized by a spherical body shape and wide proportions. He wore a high-tech superhero suit that was primarily white and black with yellow accents throughout. The costume featured a large, circular yellow emblem on the chest containing a stylized black 'R' and was constructed with thick, padded plating that followed the curves of his torso. Powers and abilities

Wu demonstrated the ability to transform his entire physical form into a large, spherical object. In this state, he possessed a highly durable, rubbery exterior that allowed him to bounce off solid surfaces and withstand significant kinetic impact without injury. He maintained a level of control over his momentum, using his rounded shape to roll at high speeds and launch himself as a projectile to strike opponents. His body exhibited a unique composition that could absorb and redirect force, which he utilised to protect others by acting as a physical shield. Additionally, he displayed a rudimentary mastery over elemental shifts within his spherical form, specifically showing the capacity to coat his exterior in a layer of fire or ice to alter the effects of his collisions. He also utilised a mobile device to livestream his actions in real-time, showcasing a proficiency with social media technology while engaging in physical combat. (Teen Titans Special v1 #1)
