    • In Black Panther, Ramonda appeared in the live-action film where she was portrayed by actress Angela Bassett. In this version, she was more of T'Challa and Shuri. Ramonda served as the dignified and resilient Queen Mother of Wakanda, providing a steadying influence during the nation's turbulent transition of power. Following the tragic death of her husband, T'Chaka, she stood proudly at Warrior Falls to witness the ritual combat that elevated her son, T'Challa, to the throne. When the challenger Erik Killmonger later arrived and seemingly killed T'Challa in a second duel, Ramonda was forced to flee the capital to ensure the survival of her family and the Jabari tribe's support. She led her daughter, Shuri, along with Nakia and Everett Ross, through the snowy mountains to seek aid from M'Baku, where she offered him the last remaining Heart-Shaped Herb in a desperate bid to save her country. Upon discovering that her son was still alive but in a comatose state, she performed the sacred ritual to restore his powers, meticulously crushing the herb and overseeing his miraculous revival. Once T'Challa was healed, she remained in the mountains under the protection of the Jabari to oversee the safety of the survivors while her son returned to Birnin Zana to reclaim the crown. Finally, after the defeat of Killmonger, she was seen standing triumphantly alongside Shuri as they welcomed the beginning of a new, more transparent era for the Wakandan people.
  • In Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Ramonda appeared in the live-action film sequel where she was portrayed by actress Angela Bassett.
