Project 7734 was a secret military initiative created by General Sam Lane of the United States of America with the purpose of protecting the world from alien invasion. The primary target of the project was Superman but came to consider other Kryptonians as a threat. The secret military program, led by General Sam Lane, was formed to serve as humanity’s countermeasure against Kryptonians and other metahuman threats. In this first appearance, the project was shown mobilizing covert assets and resources, including the acquisition of Kryptonite-based technology and specialized weaponry. Their activities also involved intelligence gathering on the Kryptonians who had been freed from Kandor, signaling their preparation for a large-scale conflict in anticipation of these powerful beings posing a threat to Earth. Following his battle against Brainiac, Superman managed to defeat the Coluan alien and rescued the Bottle City of Kandor from his vessel. The Kryptonian city was then magnified thus restoring the Kandorians back to their normal size. Project 7734 came to observe this secretly and deemed this to be a great threat to the U.S. as well as the world. To fight against them, the Project looked to mine the comatose Brainiac of his otherwordly knowledge but he awoke and attempted to harvest everyon at the facility for information. - In Superman & Lois, Project 7734 made an appearance in the setting of the live-action television series set in the Arrowverse. General Sam Lane had the U.S. military open a top-secret program that he called Project 7734 that was made after he encountered Captain Luthor who was a Lex Luthor from a reality where Superman was a threat to the world.
