History

The Outer Gods were entities above the Great Old Ones and their ilk in power. They are said to be personifications of cosmic forces, like fertility.

Overview

In appearance, the Outer Gods was a cosmic organization whose core pantheon roster consisted entirely of colossal, non-humanoid aberrations, amorphous entities, and multi-dimensional monstrosities. They featured an incredibly irregular, drastically mismatched collective build that completely rejected standard bipedal human biology or symmetrical skeletal frameworks. The organization possessed no unified natural hair coloration, skin uniformities, or shared facial structures due to the separate cosmic properties of its individual members, presenting shifting masses of malignant tentacles, bubbles, and eyes alongside grand, formless void voids. They expanded their visual identity by entirely rejecting uniform apparel or matching corporate tactical gear, allowing individual deities to express their reality-warping domains through their physical biology. Every individual entity universally displayed a terrifying, ever-shifting geometric outline that defied the laws of traditional human optics, and their massive physical bodies scaled past the dimensions of planets to project a proud, superior status across the cosmic sky.

The Outer Gods was a multi-dimensional organization that naturally lacked any shared, uniform biological traits due to the immense anatomical, genetic, and structural differences between their separate primordial data matrices. They utilized their collective paracausal signatures to execute a highly destructive, reality-shattering cosmic strategy that completely overwhelmed planetary defense networks and drove mortal minds to madness. They did not possess standard human bipedal locomotion, five-fingered manual dexterity, or technology-dependent weaponry, relying instead on exceptionally high cosmic malice, omnipresent tracking metrics, and a total mastery over extra-dimensional space-time forces. Their specialized capabilities allowed separate units to perceive past, present, and future realities simultaneously via Yog-Sothoth, shape-shift into thousands of distinct deceptive human avatars via Nyarlathotep, and manifest impenetrable reality-warping rifts. Their primary capabilities allowed them to completely bypass a target's physical defensive barriers, remain immune to standard atomic wear or planetary environmental transitions, and maintain an unbroken, highly disciplined barrier of absolute cosmic influence capable of shielding their domain from erasure.
