Biography
The Ōjō
After she traveled to Gotham City, she tracked her high-profile contract where she was seemingly targeting the scientist Dr. Anna Zeller. After tracking her target through the city streets, her mission was abruptly disrupted when billionaire Bruce Wayne actively intervened to shield Dr. Zeller from the assault. The Ojo engaged Wayne in a tense, close-quarters confrontation, tracking them to a security fence where Wayne successfully threw Dr. Zeller into a nearby dumpster for her immediate physical protection. The assassin used her blades to aggressively slice into the metallic container, narrowly missing the captive doctor before being thwarted by an unexpected localized obstruction. When she eventually lost operational control of the unfolding tactical skirmish, she deployed a supernatural escape maneuver, completely vanishing from the scene while a flock of scattering ravens burst into the open sky to mask her retreat. Overview
Personality and attributes
In appearance, the Ojo was a female Japanese human whose form was that of a slender, athletic bipedal humanoid warrior who utilized no physical disguises or shape-shifting alterations during her hunt. She possessed long, vibrant blonde hair that draped down her shoulders and a pair of wide-set, calculating solid black eyes that lacked distinct human pupils. Her facial features and lower jaw were completely concealed behind a rigid, bird-themed assassin mask designed to evoke the imagery of a predatory raven or crow. She openly wore a highly specialized, form-fitting tactical stealth uniform consisting of a dark, tailored combat tunic with reinforced shoulder plating, matching long trousers, and heavy-duty leather utility boots. She adorned her midsection with a thick weapon belt, keeping her upper limbs entirely free to smoothly manipulate her armaments during rapid-strike engagements. (Batman v4 #5)
Powers and abilities
The Ojo belonged to the human race, which naturally granted her the baseline biological traits of standard human physical density, versatile bipedal mobility, and peak athletic organic stamina. She did not possess innate superhuman strength, passive organic flight, or natural energy manipulation capabilities in her basic biological state, relying instead on her master martial arts background, elite hand-to-hand combat skills, and flawless dual-wielding swordsmanship. (Batman v4 #5)
She wielded a unique pair of specialized combat blades constructed entirely of concentrated solid light, using them to slice cleanly through dense physical materials with absolute precision. She possessed a highly advanced, supernatural evasion capability that allowed her to instantly dissolve her physical form into a collective swarm of live ravens whenever she lost tactical positioning, enabling her to teleport out of hostile environments unnoticed.
