Instead of dying, the intense pain and the parasite's unique chemical signature triggered Walker’s dormant metagene, causing his body to undergo a violent, hulking metamorphosis into a towering engine of destruction known as Loose Cannon. In this new form, his skin hardened into a blue, stony hide, and he discovered that his physical power and size scaled directly with the intensity of his rage, with his skin shifting through a spectrum of colours—eventually reaching a volatile red—as his anger peaked. He immediately engaged Glonth in a brutal, earth-shaking brawl, demonstrating a complete disregard for his own safety as he traded blows with the massive alien. Despite his lack of control over his new, gargantuan frame, he utilized his raw strength to fend off the parasite, protecting the surrounding civilian area from total devastation. The skirmish concluded when the creature retreated, leaving the transformed Walker standing amidst the wreckage of a collapsed pier, grappling with the terrifying realization that his disability had been replaced by a monstrous, uncontrollable power that threatened to consume his humanity whenever his temper flared. He became a literal engine of destruction, utilizing his immense strength to smash through the chitinous armor of the alien attackers and provide a path for his teammates, including Argus and Gunfire. Despite the overwhelming odds, he demonstrated a stubborn, protective instinct, positioning his invulnerable body as a shield to absorb lethal energy blasts that would have disintegrated a normal human. As the battle intensified, he pushed his powers to their absolute limit, reaching a state of white-hot fury that allowed him to briefly overpower several parasites simultaneously before the group was forced into a tactical retreat.
