- In He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Kobra Khan appeared in the 1985 animated television series where he was voiced by actor Lou Scheimer.
- In He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Kobra Khan appeared in the 2004 animated television series where he was voiced by actor Scott McNeil. This version was said to had been a descendant of the true Snake Men who survived into the modern age Eternia long after King Hiss's defeat. He then worked to free by manipulating Skeletor in order to gain access to Snake Mountain where he succeeded in freeing General Rattlor. This revealed his true intentions thus leading to him being on the run from the Evil Warriors with Kobra Khan and Rattlor later managing to free King Hiss from the Void. Upon the ancient king's freedom, Kobra Khan swore loyalty to King Hiss and joined the Snake Men as they attempted to take over Eternia.
