Origin
The Justice League Europe
The newly formed Justice League Europe move into their new embassy in Paris, France, but the team is beset with a variety of problems. Captain Atom is very nervous about being the chairman of this new team, Animal Man's luggage was disintegrated in the transport tube, and Wonder Woman has yet to arrive. Embassy chief Catherine Cobert tries to keep everyone calm and even shows Captain Atom his new office. He helms his first meeting, but nobody seems ready to afford him any measure of respect. As the uncomfortable meeting concludes, Catherine alerts him to an emergency in the foyer. Captain Atom, Animal Man, Elongated Man, the Flash, Metamorpho, Power Girl, Rocket Red, and Wonder Woman established a secondary operations base by moving into a new embassy facility located in Paris, France. Captain Atom, acting as the newly appointed chairman, conducted the group's first official administrative meeting to discuss operational protocols and personnel logistics, including the disintegration of Animal Man’s luggage during transport. The proceedings were interrupted when the embassy staff, led by Catherine Cobert, alerted the team to a security breach in the foyer involving the discovery of a deceased individual named Arthur Lennox. Immediately following this discovery, a large civilian mob converged on the embassy gates, displaying hostile behavior and vocalizing demands for the team’s immediate departure from the city. The members deployed to the perimeter to implement non-lethal crowd control measures and prevent the unauthorized entry of civilians who had begun breaching the facility's windows. The confrontation concluded abruptly when the mob simultaneously ceased all aggressive actions and experienced a sudden loss of memory regarding their previous activities. Captain Atom subsequently coordinated with local law enforcement, specifically Inspector Camus, to transfer custody of the deceased individual and initiate a formal investigation into the origin of the coordinated civil unrest. After the superhero the Crimson Fox was cleared of murder, she was quickly designated as the leader of a Paris-based Justice League Europe composed of Fleur-de-Lis, the Hunchback, the Musketeer, Nightrunner, and Thief of Arts. (Doomsday Clock v1 #5)

Overview
