Biography
Aiko Miyazaki
When the Japanese government assembled a new superhero team, she responded to the call alongside Hiro Takachiho and Baymax. Using her trademark Power Purse, Honey Lemon extracted a wide array of objects, including advanced weaponry and containment devices, to aid the group in subduing a rampaging monster threatening Tokyo. She worked with her teammates to restrain the beast long enough for Sunfire to deliver the finishing blow. (Sunfire & Big Hero 6 v1 #1) Honey Lemon demonstrated her ingenuity during a confrontation with the villain Everwraith, a ghost-like entity born from the souls lost at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. When Everwraith attempted to drain the life force of her teammates, Honey Lemon quickly deployed an energy shield from her purse, protecting both herself and Hiro. She then retrieved a containment cube designed to trap incorporeal beings. Though the cube was not fully effective against Everwraith, her intervention gave Baymax and Sunfire enough time to strike back, ultimately driving the villain into retreat. (Sunfire & Big Hero 6 v1 #2)
When a criminal gang armed with advanced technology raided a Tokyo research facility, she used her purse to summon an arsenal of non-lethal tools, including adhesive foam and an electro-magnetic net. She successfully incapacitated several foes singlehandedly while simultaneously protecting Hiro and Wasabi-No-Ginger from harm. Honey Lemon’s quick thinking and improvisational combat style ensured the villains were captured and the stolen technology was secured. (Big Hero 6 v1 #1)
Overview
Personality and attributes
In appearance, Honey Lemon was depicted as a tall, slender Japanese woman with long blonde hair and expressive features. She wore stylish clothing that often blended fashion with function, including lab-inspired attire or costumes with bright color palettes. Her most iconic accessory was her large Power Purse, typically a high-tech white or silver handbag with glowing accents. (Sunfire & Big Hero 6 v1 #1)
Honey Lemon was cheerful, optimistic, and highly intelligent. She carried herself with confidence, blending her love for science with a warm, approachable demeanor. She was deeply compassionate toward her teammates, often serving as the emotional support of the group when tensions rose. Despite her sunny personality, she was also pragmatic and capable of quick, strategic thinking in combat, relying on her scientific creativity as much as her magic-like purse. (Big Hero 6 v1 #1)
Powers and abilities
In physiology and abilities, Honey Lemon was an ordinary human with no innate superpowers. Her abilities came from her exceptional intellect, scientific training, and her high-tech Power Purse. The purse functioned as an interdimensional storage device, allowing her to retrieve virtually any object she could imagine and program into it, from weapons and shields to medical supplies and scientific equipment. The purse’s versatility made her one of the most unpredictable and resourceful members of Big Hero 6. She also demonstrated leadership ability, scientific knowledge in chemistry and physics, and a talent for adapting technology in the middle of a fight. (Sunfire & Big Hero 6 v1 #1)
