Video games

  • In Marvel Contest of Champions, the Green Door appeared in the setting of the mobile video game. It also served as a core gameplay mechanic for the Science champion The Leader. Within the game's narrative, the Leader manipulated this threshold to maintain his own power, using a central zone on the battlefield that could switch between open and closed states to inflict degeneration on his enemies. This cycle of resurrection and cosmic horror was most prominently featured during the introduction of Immortal Hulk, whose presence confirmed that even within the Contest, the night remained 'his time' as he struck back from beyond the grave through the door's influence. After Kushala divined the emergence of a Green Door in the Battlerealm which she described as a supernatural gate allowing the One Below All to invade like a 'colonizer' after which she summoned the hero Chee'ilth to help seal it. Assisted by the Summoner, they tracked the One Below All’s agents to prevent them from opening the gate wide enough for their master to fully cross over into the physical world. This mission culminated in a confrontation with the Immortal Abomination, where Chee'ilth used her purifying gifts from Brother Grizzly and Sister Eagle to cleanse the gamma radiation and thwart the plan to use the Green Door to consume a moon made of symbiotes.
  • In Marvel Puzzle Quest, the Green Door appeared in the setting of the mobile video game.
  • In Marvel Rivals, the Green Door appeared in the setting of the third person hero shooter video game. If Hulk was defeated, he respawned with Banner asking if he had been through the Green Door again.
