Biography
Pre-Crisis
Gnarrk
A localized temporal experiment managed by Mr. Loren Jupiter unexpectedly malfunctioned and exploded, throwing Mal Duncan thousands of years backward into a prehistoric era. Attempting to execute an immediate rescue operation, Kid Flash breached the temporal barrier to retrieve his teammate but accidentally caused the death of an indigenous caveman on site. This accidental disruption of the space-time continuum instantly fractured reality, causing the modern-day timeline to warp into a bizarre medieval realm ruled by alternative counterparts of the Justice League and the Teen Titans. Operating under his displaced prehistoric instincts, Gnarrk was pulled through the temporal rift alongside Kid Flash and Mal Duncan, arriving in the present day as a living anomaly trapped inside a completely alien world. Post-Crisis
Following the Crisis of the Infinite Earths, a new version of reality was created with a different history of events.
Post-Flashpoint

Overview
Personality and attributes
In appearance, Gnarrk was a seventeen-year-old human male originating from the prehistoric Stone Age. He possessed a rugged, highly muscular physical build, long unkempt black hair, and bright blue eyes. Reflecting his ancient Neanderthal lineage, his physical frame was denser and broader than that of contemporary human teenagers, displaying a low center of gravity and a tensed posture adapted naturally for survival. Because he was abruptly displaced from his native time period, he did not wear any standard modern civilian clothing, specialized military uniforms, or a superhero facial concealment mask, appearing on the page dressing solely in primitive, weathered animal hides fastened loosely around his waist. (Teen Titans v1 #32)
Powers and abilities
Gnarrk was a born member of the prehistoric human race who possessed the physical traits of a Stone Age hunter. On a basic feats level, his harsh environmental upbringing afforded him superhuman physical strength, high endurance, and advanced physical durability that allowed his body to withstand intense blunt impacts. His primary individual capacity on the page manifested through his raw, animalistic reflexes, exceptional tracking prowess, and advanced climbing skills, enabling him to navigate treacherous terrain effortlessly. However, because his cognitive brain functions were fully attuned to a primitive era, he originally possessed limited human intelligence, lacked any understanding of modern civilization or industrial technology, and was entirely cut off from conventional vocal speech, communicating primarily through a series of guttural groans and wordless roars. (Teen Titans v1 #32)
