History

The Devil's Meeting were events brought about in Human history where the Devil took on Human form in order to kill sinners and take them to Hell. These moments were preceded by the suicide of a Human being as that was the moment when the Devil made their presence first known. These initial victims kill themselves despite the fact that they were rational beings though they leave signs that indicate that they were crazy as well due to the influence of the Devil. It became rooted in folklore that was passed down through generations as a cautionary fable. Historically, the primary purpose of these events was not merely to kill, but to shatter the faith of onlookers; the Devil traditionally ensured the final victim died in front of a loved one or a specific 'witness' to breed cynicism and despair in those left behind. Despite this grim history of inevitable doom, the legend also maintained a small glimmer of hope, suggesting that the Devil’s power was not absolute and could be thwarted by a genuine act of repentance or a confession of sin before the final blow was struck.

In appearance, the Devil's Meeting was an event that occurred that involved mortals. During the appointed time, the Devil chose to roam the Earth in human form to personally hunt the 'damned' namely those who had committed grave, unrepentant sins before claiming their souls for eternity. These malevolent gatherings were always preceded by a "desecration," typically a suicide, which served as a ritualistic signal that the Devil had arrived to begin the torment. In every recorded instance, the Devil lured a group of sinners into a confined, inescapable space where he would hide in plain sight, masquerading as one of the victims. As the meeting progressed, he systematically turned the individuals against one another through fear and paranoia, picking them off one by one whenever the surroundings fell into darkness.

According to stories passed to children, the Devil was known to sometimes actively take part in seeking individuals that had sinned in their lives whilst they were still alive on Earth. During such moments, he took on human form in order to trap them in a confined location where a group of such individuals congregated. At such moments, he turned these people against one another where the Devil killed them one at a time. The last victim was intended to die in front of their loves oned in order to make cynics of them. However, ultimately, all those chosen in a Devil's Meeting were intended to die.

Once manifested, events began to change in the local area of the Meeting. This included bad things happening and included the coming death of people. Furthermore, images of the Devil would manifest a rough appearance on electronic equipment with cynics claiming that it was simply a distortion. In addition, any attempts by mortal beings to stop the Devil met with accidents and were killed as a result.
