Biography
Cullen Bloodstone was a male human who was the son of the famed monster hunter Ulysses Bloodstone. (Avengers Arena v1 #14) This made him the younger brother of Elsa Bloodstone where both were trained to be hunters. On his 10th birthday, Cullen was taken by his father on a proper hunting trip where they journeyed through a magical mirror that was a gateway to the black realm of Klimtor. The young boy thought of it as the best birthday of his life as he and his father hunted the monstrous creatures inhabiting that dimension. He was then left behind as part of a test by his father who wanted to see his son survive the harsh conditions of the realm. It was only supposed to be for a short time but Ulysses Bloodstone died on Earth thus stranding Cullen in Klimtor for the next 2 years. (Avengers Arena v1 #14)
He was not sure how he returned back to Earth with him reasoning that he must have found a rift back home. Cullen was at the Bloodstone mansion where he encountered his sister who had mistakenly believed that he had been at a boarding school all this time. Possessed, he turned into his monstrous state and went on a rampage until his sister defeated him returning him back to normal in the ruins of their home. It was then that he learnt that a monster from Klimtor resided in his body but he was given a Bloodstone ring which helped cage the creature. To help him control his powers, his sister decided to enrol him at the Braddock Academy headed by Captain Britain Brian Braddock which aimed to aid superpowered people in the United Kingdom learn to use their abilities. (Avengers Arena v1 #14)
Afterwards, he returned to the Bloodstone estate in England where he continued the family practice of being monster hunters. During this time, he felt that the Warwolves in the London Zoo were an invasion species too dangerous to be in the country even if they were in captivity. Thus, he convinced the zoo to sell him the creatures and intended to hunt them as sport before killing them. During this time, the X-Men approached him over taking possession of the Warwolves but he refused but instead offered them a chance at killing the beasts in the sport. Thus, he competed with the X-Men over killing the otherdimensional predators but then unleashed his monstrous nature as he switched from hunting them to preying on the Mutants. (Excalibur v4 #7)

Worn securely on his finger was a prominent, ancient metallic ring set with a fragment of the mystical Bloodgem, which cast a faint, dark internal aura when actively containing the malevolent forces anchored within his physical vessel. Powers and abilities
Cullen Bloodstone was born a regular member of the human race. On a basic feats level, his physical strength, agility, and overall combat endurance were identical to those of a normal, non-enhanced human teenager who primarily focused on academic pursuits. He derived his superhuman attributes from his family lineage and the specialized magical artifact he wore on his finger. The Bloodstone ring permanently grants Cullen Bloodstone amplified physical capabilities, augmenting his raw lifting strength, speed, and durability to levels that exceed those of an ordinary human. The artifact also provides an accelerated biological healing factor, enabling his physical vessel to rapidly recuperate from severe impacts or physical wounds sustained in the field. Beyond his object-reliant enhancements, Cullen Bloodstone harbors a highly dangerous, latent supernatural trait resulting from a past prolonged entrapment within an alternate dimension, leaving his soul host to an extra-dimensional parasitic entity known as the Glartrox. While the ring passively represses this dark influence, any removal of the jewelry forces his biology to instantly reconfigure, transforming Cullen Bloodstone into a massive, multi-ton destructive entity driven by absolute rage. (Avengers Arena v1 #1)
He wore a Bloodstone ring that made him strong and tough similar to his father as well as his sister. It also helped keep the darkness within him wrapped and left the monster possessing him docile. (Avengers Arena v1 #14)
