Biography

Constantine Drakon

As a child, he grew up in Greece where he was teased by other children due to his height. By 10 years old, he started killing people where he found he was no longer sensitive about his stature. He claimed that he had nothing strange or traumatic in his upbringing to turn him to murder, he was simply curious to see what he could do. Discovering that he was a prodigy at killing, Constantine proceeded to make a living out of it. He considered what he did not just a job but a vocation, and took pride in the professional manner in which he operated. (Green Arrow v3 #27)

When the immigrant workers of the corrupt "Elevast" construction company developing in Star City began mutating into troll-like beasts because of illegal Beta-Vaccine testing, the company hired Drakon. His job was to eliminate the monsters and cover up the link between them and the corporation. Green Arrow's investigations into the monsters put him in direct confrontation with the assassin. In their first encounter Drakon soundly defeated Green Arrow, and crucified him with his own arrows. He chose not to kill the archer because he wasn't being paid enough to kill superheroes yet. (Green Arrow v3 #29)

Constantine Drakon was a prodigiously lethal, diminutive Greek assassin who entered the Star City underworld under the direct employment of the corrupt Elevast Corporation. Hired to eliminate a group of mutated, troll-like construction workers and systematically cover up the company's illegal vaccine testing, Drakon's clinical cleanup operation quickly drew the intervention of Green Arrow. While Oliver Queen and his young companion Mia Dearden were investigating an industrial processing facility, Drakon launched a sudden ambush. He unleashed his terrifying reflexes, effortlessly catching Green Arrow's high-velocity arrows out of mid-air with his bare hands. He proceeded to execute a brutal counter-assault that left the veteran superhero completely dismantled, pinning the hero's hands to a wall with his own archery shafts before casually walking away because his contract didn't pay an extra premium to execute costumed vigilantes. (Green Arrow v3 #27) Drakon escalated his domestic cleaning operation in Star City by ruthlessly targeting Joanna Pierce, a legal attorney and the niece of Black Lightning, who had uncovered corporate files linking the Elevast Corporation to the mutated laborers. Slipping completely undetected into the high-profile attorney's private office, Drakon casually interrogated her before executing her in cold blood. Seeking to systematically purge any remaining copies of the incriminating evidence, he tracked Oliver Queen's whereabouts straight to a local hospital where the archer was recovering. Infiltrating the medical facility, Drakon launched a precise tactical ambush, trapping Green Arrow's son, Connor Hawke, in a high-stakes confrontation. Utilizing his peak-human physical speed and lethal martial arts leverage, Drakon effortlessly bypassed the young archer's defensive guard, bloodily battering Connor and slashing his chest to maintain absolute operational control over the corporate secrets. Overview

Personality and attributes

In appearance, Constantine Drakon was a male human of Greek descent who possessed a deceptively unassuming and youthful countenance. He was defined by a clean-shaven, sharp face with dark, intense eyes and short-cropped dark hair, giving him the look of a refined professional rather than a cold-blooded assassin. His body shape was notably small and compact, standing well below the average height of his peers with a lean, wiry frame that masked his explosive physical power. This slight stature was often used to his advantage, as opponents frequently underestimated the lethal efficiency contained within his unassuming build. His clothing reflected a sense of high-end, European sophistication, as he was typically seen in a well-tailored, dark turtleneck paired with matching slacks and a long, expensive overcoat. This ensemble projected an image of wealth and class, allowing him to blend into corporate or high-society environments with ease while concealing the specialized tools of his trade. Powers and abilities

Constantine Drakon was a baseline human of Greek heritage who possessed no metahuman genes or supernatural enhancements, relying instead on a terrifyingly high level of natural physical aptitude. His status as an ordinary human meant that his effectiveness was derived entirely from an unprecedented level of speed, reflexes, and martial arts mastery developed during his youth as a prodigious assassin. On a basic level, his natural physiology afforded him a reaction time that bordered on the superhuman, allowing him to perceive and interact with high-velocity objects—such as arrows—with casual ease. This biological efficiency granted him the power to dismantle multiple armed opponents in seconds, as his mind and body were synchronized to a degree that made his movements appear as a blur to the naked eye. Despite his lack of formal powers, his peak human condition afforded him the lethality of a living weapon, enabling him to outmanoeuvre and physically dominate even highly trained costumed vigilantes through sheer, unadulterated talent.
