Biography
Origin
Henry
Commander Cold arrived in the 21st century alongside the Renegades, appearing suddenly in Central City to confront Barry Allen. He functioned as the authoritative leader of this futuristic police force, wearing a suit that mirrored the aesthetic of the original Captain Cold but served a law-enforcement purpose. After his team successfully restrained the Flash, Commander Cold stepped forward to deliver a formal proclamation. He projected a holographic image of a murdered individual and informed the hero that he was being placed under arrest for the 'cold-blooded murder' of a man known as Mirror Monarch. (The Flash v3 #1) He led the Renegades in a high-speed pursuit of Barry Allen through the streets of Central City after the hero refused to surrender. He coordinated his team's efforts to subdue the Flash, at one point using his advanced cold-gun technology to create a massive ice slick across a building's facade to impede the hero’s movement. Throughout the chase, the Commander remained steadfast in his mission to bring the Flash to the 25th century to face trial for the murder of Mirror Monarch. When the Flash attempted to explain that he had found a body and was being framed, Commander Cold dismissed the claim, insisting that their historical records were absolute. The confrontation escalated until the Commander ordered the Renegades to use 'deadly force' if necessary, though the battle was ultimately interrupted by the sudden appearance of the actual Rogues from the present day. (The Flash v3 #2)
