Overview

The sisterhood of the Coda was considered the greatest martial institution on Khera. Its warriors were second to none and chosen at birth from the ranks of the finest dynasties that were bound together by blood. Under normal circumstances, recruitment into the sisterhood were made when the inductee was at the age of seven. Thus, it was rare for adults to be brought into the Coda with such acts only done so as a political favor to a member of the nobility. (Nemesis v1 #8)

Coda assassins were known to make use of suicide glands that their warriors triggered in order to prevent to prevent their capture by killing themselves. (Majestic v2 #9)

The Skein were a secretive and most radical assassination cell from the Tower of Lament on Khera who had identifiable designs on themselves to indicate their allegiance. (Majestic v2 #9)

Among the most revered of rituals was the Blood Dance that was the mingling of a Coda warrior's blood in stylized combat patterns that re-affirmed their loyalty to one another and inducted recruits into their ranks. Many variations of the dance was experienced by a warrior of the sisterhood in their lifetime but the first of these was the most deadliest. This first Blood Dance was the final one experienced by students that were given full warrior status and was dangerous because combat was real with no training tools used in the ritual. Its importance was stated within the Book of the Coda. (Nemesis v1 #8)
