Biography
Brian DeWolff
As the mysterious Wraith, he embarked on a campaign of terror across New York City that targeted high-profile figures. He first struck by detonating a bomb at the office of a corrupt slumlord and subsequently targeted a wealthy banker, utilizing a sophisticated mask and costume to conceal his identity. During his initial clash with Spider-Man, Brian demonstrated terrifying psionic capabilities, projecting realistic illusions that allowed him to bypass the hero's spider-sense and induce crippling mental agony. He moved with a cold, mechanical precision, showing no hesitation as he attempted to execute his targets in the name of a distorted brand of justice. As the conflict escalated, he successfully held his own against both Spider-Man and Iron Man, using his mental powers to make the heroes believe they were suffering from fatal physical injuries. Throughout these actions, he remained an enigma to the authorities and the heroes alike, appearing as a ghost-like enforcer who vanished as quickly as he arrived, leaving behind a trail of destruction that hinted at a much deeper, more sinister agenda.
