Biography
Amy Sue Allen
At some point, she came to be part of Project Quantum that was a top-secret initiative. (Teen Titans v3 #63)
Armed with a body bonded to a Dilustel quantum metal coating, she assumed the codename Bombshell and quickly demonstrated her power by flying into the fray when the team faced an immediate threat. Her debut saw her unleashing powerful energy bursts and engaging in aerial maneuvers, asserting herself alongside established Titans even before her motives became clear. Shortly thereafter, her true allegiances surfaced—she betrayed the team by attempting to seize a vital data disc from Raven containing Jericho’s essence, threatening to eliminate team members before being thwarted by Ravager. (Teen Titans v3 #39)
She was in the South China Sea where she engaged Nazi forces of Red Panzer that were attacking the U.S.S. Ranger. Bombshell was then assisted by the Teen Titans who arrived on the scene to recruit her. They came to inquire about Raven from her where Amy revealed that they had been working together to investigate rumours of a traitor within the tanks of the Titans. When asked about this, Bombshell came to openly accuse Ravager of plotting to betray her team mates. (Teen Titans v3 #39)
Bombshell seemingly made a recovery and responded to Article X that was a draft of superheroes to help saving the world from a crisis event. (Final Crisis v1 #3)
Afterwards, officially she was declared to had been killed but she revived due to the alien metal that composed her body. Her public arrest though made her a liability and she was forced to go on the run as Project Quantum were in pursuit of her. This saw Amy seeking out her mother in secret to find her father who she thought could help her. However, she then learnt that her father was in fact the head of Project Quantum and had been responsible for sending the soldiers after her. The site was then surrounded by troops looking to capture her though she repelled their attempts but the fight was joined by the Teen Titans who looked to arrest her. (Teen Titans v3 #63)

Powers and abilities
Originally, Amy Allen was an ordinary human being with no special powers or abilities until she part involved in the top-secret program called Project Quantum. (Teen Titans v3 #63) She came to be coated in the same extraterrestrial material that encompassed Captain Atom's body. Her metallic skin made her immune to gunfire that bounced of it. This allowed her to manipulate the Quantum Field to achieve a variety of superhuman effects. Amy’s transformation stemmed from an experimental graft of Dilustel alien metal skin—identical in composition to that which empowered Captain Atom—bonded to her human physiology. This made her a human mutate rather than a born metahuman. Her metal skin granted her enhanced durability and super strength, a capacity for flight, and the ability to generate focused concussive energy blasts. Her skin’s resilience meant she could endure tremendous damage, though being human beneath the metallic coating left her vulnerable if the coating was breached. Her baseline abilities were thus rooted in her physical alteration rather than technological augmentation or mystical endowment. (Teen Titans v3 #39) It was said to not just be a shell and that it was a part of her. (Teen Titans v3 #63)
It was said that she could achieve speeds of up to Mach 3. (Teen Titans v3 #63)
Her ability to absorb energy allowed her to become stronger from such attacks. (Teen Titans v3 #63)
In the U.S. military, she once served under the rank of Airman. (Teen Titans v3 #63)
