Biography
Anya Romanov grew up in Forge City where she quickly adopted a life of crime by becoming the city's best thief. During her career, she managed to arm herself with an array of high-tech though non-lethal weaponry as well as some criminal tools. She also trained herself to be an efficient as well as athletic along with being a master of many forms of martial arts. This fixed her place as the best professional thief in Forge City despite the fact that she did not resort to murder or vandalism during her acts. This was not simply a matter of ethics but more about professional pride as she preferred not to kill on the job. Instead, she resorted to simply breaking into a site, stealing the goods and getting out without anyone aware of the act. She eventually teamed up with Louie Palmer who was a war veteran and communications expert who served as a vital partner and agent for Romananov. From his control room, he was constantly connected to Anya by audio as well as video link which allows him to guide her through the most dangerous of assignments. All these traits made Anya a stern individual who does not rattle easily and did not backdown from a challenge. Despite this, her life experience had taught her not to push her luck in certain situations. She was eventually hired by a mysterious client who wanted her to steal the city's most valuable and treasured items.
She later conducted a high-stakes infiltration of a high-security museum in Forge City. She initiated the operation by scaling the exterior of the building and entering through a rooftop ventilation duct. Once inside, she navigated a series of infrared laser grids by performing precise acrobatic maneuvers, including flips and slides, to avoid triggering alarms. She utilized a specialised hacking device to bypass electronic keypads and gain access to a restricted gallery containing a priceless artifact. During the extraction phase, she encountered a team of private security guards but avoided direct physical confrontation by deploying a smoke pellet to obscure their vision, allowing her to escape through a high-altitude window. She concluded the mission by using a grappling line to descend to a waiting getaway vehicle managed by her technician, Louie.

Romanov was a technical specialist who prioritised non-lethal stealth over direct physical engagement during her criminal operations. She functioned as the field operative in a collaborative duo, maintaining constant radio contact with her handler, Louie, to synchronise her movements with his remote hacking of security systems. Anya demonstrated a methodical approach to infiltration, using high-tech surveillance equipment to map out guard patrol patterns and laser grids before committing to an entry path. She relied on a combination of acrobatic agility and specialized gadgets, such as sonic distractors and flashbangs, to neutralise threats without causing permanent harm or triggering silent alarms. This disciplined adherence to stealth protocols allowed her to remain undetected even when operating within high-density security zones filled with thermal sensors and motion detectors.
