She also trained herself to be an efficient as well as athletic along with being a master of many forms of martial arts. This fixed her place as the best professional thief in Forge City despite the fact that she did not resort to murder or vandalism during her acts. This was not simply a matter of ethics but more about professional pride as she preferred not to kill on the job. Instead, she resorted to simply breaking into a site, stealing the goods and getting out without anyone aware of the act. She eventually teamed up with Louie Palmer who was a war veteran and communications expert who served as a vital partner and agent for Romananov. All these traits made Anya a stern individual who does not rattle easily and did not backdown from a challenge.
