Ann Takamaki (Japanese: 高巻 杏, Hepburn: Takamaki An, Anne Takamaki in the Japanese version)
Takamaki appeared during a rainy morning as a student waiting under the eaves of a shop near the Shibuya station entrance. She stood silently while observing the rainfall until a silver car, driven by the teacher Suguru Kamoshida, pulled up to the curb. Upon his arrival, she looked toward the vehicle and engaged in a brief exchange with him through the car window. Following this interaction, she entered the front passenger seat of the car and departed with him toward Shujin Academy. Shortly after arriving at the school, she walked through the courtyard where she was observed by the protagonist and Ryuji Sakamoto, though she did not speak to them at that time. Later, she was seen standing in the school hallway looking out of a window before moving to her classroom for the start of the academic day.

In appearance, Ann Takamaki was a female human of Caucasian and Japanese descent with a slender build, fair skin, and light blue eyes. She had long, wavy blonde hair that she wore tied into two high pigtails held by pink hair ties. During her initial appearance, she wore the Shujin Academy school uniform, which consisted of a cream-coloured blazer with black trim over a white collared shirt, and a red-and-black plaid skirt. Beneath her skirt, she wore full-length red leggings paired with white high-top sneakers that featured red accents. She carried a dark-coloured school bag and wore a pair of small, silver hoop earrings.
Ann was a socially isolated student who maintained a visible distance from her peers at Shujin Academy. She exhibited a reserved and guarded demeanour during her initial public interactions, specifically during her silent observation of the rain and her brief, hushed conversation with Suguru Kamoshida. Her behaviour was characterised by a lack of integration into the school's social groups, as she was frequently seen standing alone in hallways or near windows rather than engaging with other students. This sense of detachment was further reinforced by her stoic physical expressions, as she refrained from initiating contact or responding to the gazes of onlookers like Ryuji Sakamoto and the protagonist during her first day on campus.
