Biography
Angel (Japanese: (アンヘル, Hepburn: Anheru)
Records identified her as a human enhanced through the cartel’s biotechnology, designed to act as both operative and enforcer for their criminal empire. Her carefree personality and erratic behavior masked a highly trained and lethal combatant. Angel was initially assigned to monitor and, if necessary, eliminate the rogue experiment K9999, another NESTS creation who had begun to act beyond control. Despite the seriousness of her mission, she approached her work with humor and recklessness, often treating combat as a game.
Ángel was tasked to form a team with Foxy, Kula Diamond, and the cartel's newest creation, K9999. Their main purpose was to dispatch the rogue creations that had escaped from NESTS's grasp, as well as disposing K', Kyo Kusanagi, and anyone who would get in the cartel's way. She did seem to enjoy working with K9999, as they seem to have the same interests at heart.
While working alongside K9999, Angel’s allegiance to NESTS began to fracture. Though she carried out assassinations and enforcement missions with brutal efficiency, she showed disdain for authority and an unpredictable streak that made her difficult to control. Her partnership with K9999 evolved into a dangerous alliance built on mutual defiance of the organization that created them. When the NESTS cartel began to collapse due to internal betrayal and rebellion, Angel seized the opportunity to abandon her handlers. She aided K9999 in sabotaging key NESTS operations before disappearing without a trace, her actions helping destabilize the criminal empire from within. This period marked her transformation from obedient operative to mercenary and wanderer, untethered by loyalty or ideology.

In appearance, Angel was a striking woman of athletic build, with tanned skin, platinum-blonde hair cut short, and vivid blue eyes. Her outfit was one of the most distinctive among the King of Fighters roster—typically consisting of tight leather pants, a cropped top, and fingerless gloves, emphasizing her strength and agility. The exposed sections of her outfit revealed a cross-shaped tattoo along her abdomen, symbolizing her NESTS experimentation. She was known by the nickname of Knockout ♥ Free Spirit (悩殺のうさつ♥てきとー娘むすめ).
Ángel was a lighthearted, flirtatious and playful individual who behaves like a cat, in spite of her working status as an assassin for NESTS prior to the organization's disbandment. She is also quite violent and sadistic, as shown with her dangerous attacks and balefulness. One of Ángel's habits is being an showboat and an exhibitionist; She flaunts herself to the crowd when a tournament match is about to start and she can especially be a bit of a show-off when the opponent is losing against her, to gain the crowd's attention she'll boast about her skills and belittle her opponents in the fight. Despite her arrogance, she's all for a fair and good fight, feeling that her opponents shouldn't hold back when fighting to provide her with a good challenge. It's also been shown that Ángel's very insensitive when it comes to people being angry at her, a good example of this is whenever Kula's irritated at her and Ángel is largely indifferent to her insults.
She continued to use her fighting skills for personal gain, but with no allegiance to any cause beyond her own enjoyment. Her playful, teasing demeanor often masked the violence she was capable of inflicting without hesitation. Despite her lack of moral direction, she displayed moments of strange empathy, occasionally helping others out of boredom rather than malice. Her eccentric behavior, constant joking, and flirtatious attitude contrasted with her brutal efficiency in combat, making her one of the most unpredictable and dangerous competitors in the tournament.
