The Amulet of First Magic
The sorceress Morgaine Le Fay guided her petulant son, Mordred, deep into ancient, forgotten ruins to locate and excavate a powerful, shiny purple artifact known as the Amulet of First Magic, which functioned as the original raw source of all earthly mystical power. Upon breaching the chamber, the duo successfully retrieved the dense, high-powered relic, which possessed an immense concentration of reality-altering energy capable of executing any action its master willed it to do. Tired of his mother’s perpetual authority and centuries of empty promises, Mordred immediately seized control of the relic and betrayed Morgaine Le Fay. He channelled the relic's volatile, unrefined core energy to cast a massive, world-spanning banishment spell that instantly swept across the planet, tearing away every single human being older than himself and dumping them directly into a desolate shadow realm. Left completely unmonitored by adults, Mordred used the artifact’s continuous power output to completely transform an ordinary amusement park into his own personal, heavily fortified magical kingdom, effectively claiming absolute rule over the child-populated earthly plane.
Morgaine Le Fay bypasses her son's global banishment matrix by reducing the physical ages of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern, dropping the de-aged heroes directly into Mordred's fortified amusement park kingdom to intercept the dictator. Mordred immediately detects the intrusion and uses the Amulet of First Magic to animate a massive army of toy soldiers, amusement park rides, and a giant mechanized robot to crush the miniature Justice League. During the chaotic melee, the de-aged heroes breach the central throne room, forcing Mordred to channel the relic's pure, unrefined energy into devastating energy blasts that systematically overpower the children. Recognizing that they cannot defeat the artifact in direct combat, Green Lantern creates a structural energy construct that securely pins Mordred to his throne while Batman taunts the ruler's fragile ego, tricking him into believing he is not mature enough to rule a world. Goaded by the psychological manipulation, Mordred uses the amulet's absolute reality-altering properties to instantly transform himself into a full-grown adult. Because his own global banishment spell dictates that no adults can exist on the earthly plane, the amulet's active magic instantly triggers a paradox, violently shattering the purple gemstone into thousands of pieces, neutralizing the spell, and stripping the broken, elderly Mordred of his eternal youth and power forever.
