Biography

The Spirit of Vengeance in Venom v2 #13.1.

Alejandra Jones was a female human born he daughter of an American human trafficker and an unknown Mexican woman. Her father was said to had been many women some of whom he had gotten pregnant with the resultant children being sold. Such a fate was for Alejandra who was said to had been sold though her biological father could not recall the event. She eventually came under the care of a man named Adam who raised her in his temple. (Ghost Rider v7 #5)

Adam was later able to convince Johnny Blaze, the current Ghost Rider, to give up the curse. Adam then resurrected the Seeker to choose the next Ghost Rider. Alejandra was chosen and was sent to Dayton, Ohio to fight Skadi, the daughter of the Red Skull and the Serpent's loyal subject. Alejandra put up a good fight but was ultimately defeated. (Ghost Rider v7 #1) Meanwhile, Johnny Blaze learned from Mephisto that Adam's ultimate goal was to wipe all sin from humanity, effectively turning humanity into mindless, emotionless beings. Blaze, feeling guilty for selfishly giving up the curse, agreed to help him separate the Ghost Rider from Adam. Shortly after Alejandra and Adam returned to the temple, he ordered her to extinguish the sin from her fellow students. When she refused, Adam enslaved her. (Ghost Rider v7 #2) When Blaze arrived, he and the Seeker, who disagreed with Adam's plans, joined sides to stop him. Adam turned Alejandra into a bomb of sorts that, after exploding, wiped the sin out of everyone in Nicaragua, save for Blaze and the Seeker, who grabbed Blaze and used his ability to nullify the Ghost Rider's power to protect him from the blast. Adam then took the Ghost Rider to Cape Canaveral to board a space shuttle and flew to a space station. (Ghost Rider v7 #3) Onboard, Adams told her that he wanted her to focus all her power and magnify it through the space station's camera lens so that it could reach across the Earth. Johnny Blaze, having made a deal with Mephisto for a bike he could fly into space, took the Seeker up with him to the space station. But, realizing he was going to use her as a weapon, he jettisoned him from the bike, sending him back to Earth. Blaze was too late to stop Adam from forcing Alejandra to release all of her power but tried to get her to take control of it. His words touched her and she was able to overcome Adam's influence and blew up the space station. Alejandra saved Blaze, and they returned to Earth. Seeking to give the Nicaraguans their souls back, Alejandra drove off without Blaze, not wanting another person telling her what to do. (Ghost Rider v7 #4)

As penance for her actions, she decided to remain in the vicinity of her former home in Nicaragua and protect its people. The village's inhabitants were then attacked by Carnage who was targeting all the former Symbiote hosts. Danny Ketch was sent by Johnny Blaze to help her but despite his efforts they were unable to stop Cletus Kasady from murdering Alejandra where he claimed her spine and the codex material within it thus temporarily giving him her powers. With her dead, Alejandra appeared in Hell that was now under the rule of Johnny Blaze who had deposed Mephisto. She asked Blaze to send her back so that she could save the village but Johnny revealed that her body was dead and she was consigned to the afterlife with the other Spirits of Vengeance. However, Alejandra convinced him to use his powers to let her take possession of a girl named Imara in the village who convinced the other people in the area to help Ketch by throwing burning bottles at Carnage. This ultimately forced Carnage to escape thus saving the village from his continued attacks. Alejandra's tether to her host was only for a limited time and she bid her thanks to Ketch before returning back to Hell. Once there, Blaze took her to the hall containing the other Spirits of Vengeance so that she could take her place among them. (Absolute Carnage: Symbiote of Vengeance v1 #1)

Her biological father was a human trafficker who had slept with many Mexican women some of whom he got pregnant.
