Today in Multiversal History - May 6 1910: Real World - King Edward VII of the United Kingdom dies, and is succeeded by George V. 1937: Real World - The zeppelin Hindenburg goes up in flames and is destroyed in an accident at Lakehurst, New Jersey. 1942: Real World - The remaining U.S. forces in the Philippines surrender to Japan. 1994: Real World - The Channel Tunnel is opened, allowing ground travel between England and France in around 35 minutes.
