Biography

Original Timeline

Cervantes de León (Japanese: セルバンテス・デ・レオン, Hepburn: Serubantesu de Reon) was the human son of Philip de Leon who was a privateer sent on a special mission from the Spanish King to loot in the name of Spain. One day, they sailed for an English ship with the intention of looting it only to find out too late that it was actually a warship. Thus, their ship was taken by surprise and was destroyed with Philip dying along with everyone else. Upon learning of his fathers death, Carvantes was devastated as he grew up full of pride over his father being a great sailor. He decided to become a sailor himself but the demise of his father made him consider that only death waited for those that swore allegiance to Spain. Thus, he decided to forsake Spain and instead became a notorious pirate where he operated on the high seas. During this time, he received a message from Vercci who was the infamous 'Merchant of Death' who desired the legendary sword named Soul Edge.
