History
The Plutonian race developed in the coldest planet within the Earth solar system namely the planet Pluto itself. There existence was largely unknown until one of their craft which was returning back to Pluto was forced to make a landing onto the third planet in the system; Earth. After crashing onto that world, they placed their ship into the ocean and disguised it as a large iceberg where they attempted to repair it. Once this was done, they began to search for the means to make their starship flight capable once more. Their search led them to learn that Doctor Smarter possessed the technical means to accomplish this task.
A member of the Plutonians attempted to enlist the aid of the Human but his actions were misconstrued as being that of an attacker. At the time, Spider-man was at the scene and battled the Plutonian forcing him to retreat. This agent was later able to escape Spider-man's pursuit and brought a second Plutonian to aid him in extracting Doctor Smarter. Freezing Spider-man, the pair quickly returned to their ship where they explained to him their need. Spider-man had later infiltrated the ship and had been attacking the Plutonians until the Doctor told him of their reason for the abduction.
To shield their technology from the local population, the creatures hid their starship inside New York Harbor and cleverly disguised its hull to resemble a massive, natural iceberg. Seeking a tactical solution to break their planetary confinement, a detachment of the creatures targeted a brilliant terrestrial propulsion specialist named Dr. Smartyr to enlist his help. The entities encountered an immediate military misunderstanding when the superhero Spider-Man mistook their actions for a hostile alien invasion, prompting the web-slinger to launch a full-scale assault against their ship. With the aid of the doctor, the Plutonians managed to install the space warp drive within their ship and returned to the stars where they were presumed to be returning to their home world.
Overview
In appearance, the Plutonians were a genderless extra-terrestrial race of ice entities whose true forms were tall, bipedal, and completely non-humanoid crystalline structures that possessed rigid, blocky physical builds. They lacked traditional mammal tissues, organic skeleton structures, or distinct facial features, appearing instead as heavy creatures composed entirely of smooth, diamond-shaped blocks of solid ice. Their angular heads featured an entirely featureless visage punctuated only by two dark, narrow horizontal eye slots that lacked distinct pupils or irises. From their broad, squared shoulders extended two long, multi-jointed arms that lacked human fingers, tapering instead into specialized, blunt wrist appendages that featured tiny, circular hollow ports. The entities did not wear traditional manufactured garments or metallic armor pieces, completely eschewing traditional clothing to expose their raw, glowing light-blue crystalline hides, which continuously radiated an intense, freezing vapor trail that instantly dropped local temperatures wherever they walked.
The species appeared as a humanoid race with a rough approximate form of a human, having a head, two legs and two arms. However, instead of a fleshy skin, the Plutonians had a smooth icy diamond shaped body and their heads were blocky in shape with two eye slots. In addition to these, they had cold based powers allowing them to shoot rays of energy that froze targets; either living sentient beings such as humans or tall buildings. Another ability they had was the capacity to shoot sharp icicle shaped needles from their wrists. The mere presence of a Plutonian was enough to cause the immediate environment to freeze over; even during the intense heat of summer.
The Plutonians were a cryokinetic mineral-based race of extra-terrestrial entities, which naturally granted its collective membership the basic biological traits of immense physical strength, complete self-sustenance, and a specialized metabolism that thrived exclusively within absolute sub-zero environments. Their unique, ice-shielded physiology offered individual citizens an absolute immunity to extreme kinetic trauma and high-impact blunt forces, though they did not possess independent aerodynamic flight capabilities and remained highly vulnerable to intense heat waves or sudden atmospheric warming. The creatures operated via a highly unified hive structure where the standard population lacked the organic vocal structures required for spoken communication, relying entirely on a singular designated leader who possessed high-level telepathic projection to broadcast complex thoughts directly into human minds. Their primary capabilities allowed individual entities to project highly concentrated streams of freezing energy directly from their wrists, shoot sharp, lethal icicle needles from their body ports, and generate massive, localized blizzards to completely coat massive city buildings in solid frost, though their interstellar navigation remained strictly bound by external mechanical fuel cells and specialized alien spacecraft technology.
Their starship appeared as a diamond shaped craft which was capable of space travel.
